Rock on

“What are men to rocks and mountains?”
The quotation that introduces my entry in this week’s Travel Theme: Stone challenge is courtesy of Jane Austen (‘Pride and Prejudice’). Heaven knows, there’s nothing like a mountain to put you in your place.

  1. I love all your choices but the Eiger is especially close to my heart as back in the 70’s, I worked one winter in the youth hostel in Grindelwald and saw the Eiger each day from the window of my room (or from anywhere in the front of the hostel.) It’s a gorgeous area.
