It’s raining in Sydney. A lot. It’s good for the gardens, and it’s the answer to the prayers of everyone fighting the bushfires: that’s what I tell myself as I gaze out the rain-spotted windows, dreaming of summer sun. And, of course, the raindrops add an interesting touch to the bright red of the new leaves on the gum tree.
