Defunct fountains: Bolivia

This waterless but still lovely (marble?) fountain is in a courtyard of the National Museum of Art in La Paz, Bolivia. The photo is a scan of a print from 1999, so rather poor quality I’m afraid.

January’s fountain theme is defunct or repurposed.

  1. Hi Kaz – all the evils of colonialism agreed, but also agree on the impressive architecture – and a very nice fountain indeed. Haven’t made it to Bolivia yet, may never happen, so it’s great to see your photo. Poli
