Now that’s a colourful sight. Wouldn’t want to have to wear a bearskin in your temperatures though!

The poor guys (and gals) do have to contend with a range of weather conditions on Anzac Day! This year it was pleasant for them, about 23C with patchy sun. Some years it’s much hotter, and some it pours. The piper I know in the band was telling me that one year it rained so heavily the water ran down into the pipes and they stopped working! And he developed a heavy all-over rash, which really puzzled the doctor until he heard the torrential rain/wet wool story. 😂
